The Music Marketeers rolls out background music solution in Asia

The Music Marketeers, one of Europe’s most successful and innovative providers of in-store entertainment, have branched out into Asia. The company’s integrated solutions – a prime example is their streaming background music service, StreamAlot – are now available to retail-chains in China, and beyond.

“We have been monitoring Asian retail-trends for a couple of years, and felt that the time was right to introduce background music to this fast-growing market,” says company CEO Rob van Rozendaal. “More and more Asian chains, especially in the fashion industry, recognize the importance of creating the right shopping atmosphere, and want to enhance the overall in-store experience. This means that the interest in effective, low-cost, no-maintenance background music solutions is on the rise. StreamAlot is that solution. It allows retailers to set the right mood easily and cost-effectively. Chains may opt for a wide range of professionally pre-programmed channels or invite our audio architects to set-up a ‘personalized’ channel, which may even include branded sound logo’s and rotating advertisements.”

Asian appeal

The Asian markets are facilitated through The Music Marketeers’ Hong Kong office and a growing partner-network, among which Shanghai based Raybond Media. “We have already teamed up with market-leaders in digital signage and are negotiating contracts with other interested parties. Personally, I am very excited about these developments, because I feel that the Asian market has great growth-potential, especially because retailers are currently looking for ways to flexibly cater to different target groups. Our solutions, which support web-based use, streaming as well as forward store options and easy-to-use music and commercial agenda’s, will certainly appeal to those companies.”
